1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Vortex Paints website or placing an order through our platform or via WhatsApp, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. About Vortex Paints

Vortex Paints is a product brand of Nano Coating Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, a Sri Lankan company with over 42 years of experience in high-performance coatings, chemical engineering, and surface treatment solutions. We offer three main product categories:

  • Paint Industry Products — rust converters, rust removers, primers, paint cleaners, and related industrial coatings
  • House Holding Products — sofa cleaners, nail polish removers, pen carbon cleaners, and household chemical solutions
  • Agriculture Products — mealybug killers, porcupine repellents, plant sealers, and agricultural protective solutions

3. Orders and Purchasing

3.1 Placing Orders

Orders may be placed through two methods:

  • Online checkout: Add items to your cart, provide your billing address and contact email, and complete checkout on our website.
  • WhatsApp ordering: Click the ‘Buy On WhatsApp’ button on any product page to place your order directly via WhatsApp.

3.2 Order Confirmation

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by Vortex Paints. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders where product availability has changed or where pricing errors have occurred. You will be notified promptly if your order cannot be fulfilled.

3.3 Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price at the time your order is confirmed.

4. Payment

Currently, the only accepted payment method is Cash on Delivery (COD). Payment is collected by our delivery representative at the time your order is delivered to your address. Please ensure you have the exact amount ready at the time of delivery.

We do not currently accept credit cards, bank transfers, or digital payment methods. This may change in the future, and updates will be reflected on our website.

5. Delivery

We deliver across Sri Lanka. Delivery timelines and charges may vary based on your location and will be communicated to you at the time of order confirmation. We endeavour to deliver within the estimated timeframe, but we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including adverse weather, logistics disruptions, or public holidays.

Risk of loss and title for products purchased from Vortex Paints pass to you upon delivery of the product to the delivery address.

6. Product Information

We make every effort to accurately describe our products on the website, including images, descriptions, and usage instructions. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

Chemical products such as rust converters, paint cleaners, and agricultural sprays must be used strictly as directed on the product label. Vortex Paints is not liable for damage or injury resulting from improper use, misuse, or failure to follow product instructions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Vortex Paints website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product images, and brand names, is the property of Nano Coating Technologies (Pvt) Ltd and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vortex Paints and Nano Coating Technologies (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

  • The use or inability to use our products or website
  • Improper use or application of chemical or agricultural products
  • Delays in delivery beyond our reasonable control
  • Errors or inaccuracies in product descriptions

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
